Plot
Mujeres Asesinas is a series that shows the dark side of women, who have been mistreated or abused, who become cruel murderers. In this series, it shows how violence and death overcome the feminine mind.
Each episode shows a different story of a woman who has committed homicide. These women are motivated by love, hate, resentment, revenge, madness, despair, fear, anger, addiction, salvation and redemption. Doctor Sofía Capellan and her team of experts try solve the murders perpetuated by the women.

Departamento de Investigacion Especializado en Mujeres, is an agency who is in charge of helping women. This agency confronts and resolves brutal crimes in which the women are also victims. Unlike the Argentine version, in this version the Department of Investigation Specializing in Women (DIEM) is added.

The First Seasons began on June 17, 2008 with the episode of "Sonia, desalmada" it means Sonia, soulless starring Leticia Calderón and ended in July 23, 2008 with the episode "Emma, costurera" it means Emma, needlewoman starring Veronica Castro. The slogan was "No Permitas Que Tu Mujer Vea Esta Nueva Serie" which means, "Do not let your wife see this new series".
Second Season
The second season began on July 14, 2009 with the episode of "Clara, Fantasiosa" which means Clara, Fantasizer, starring Edith Gonzálezand ended in August 25 with the episode "Carmen, honrada" it means Carmen, honest starring Carmen Salinas. The theme song is "Que Emane" sung by Gloria Trevi.[3] It was not as successful as the first season. This Second seasons slogan was " Mueres Por Que Tu Mujer La Vea" it means, "Dying because your wife watch it".
Third Season
The third season is currently in progress.
The Season began on September 21, 2010 with the episode of "Irma, de los peces" it means Irma of the fish starring Jaqueline Bracamontesand end with "Las Cotuchas, empresarias" which means Las cotuchas, entrepreneurs starring María Rojo, Pilar Pellicer and Patricia Reyes Spindola In this season there are two Official theme songs depending on entrance of the episode. The first is the "Main" theme song which is "Alma Perdida" it means "Lost Soul" sung by Ana Barbara, while the other song is "Con Las Manos Atadas" which means "With the hands tied" sung by Yuri.
This Third seasons slogan is " A Veces El Corazón Habla Con Sangre" which means " Sometimes The Heart Speaks With Blood"
